About

Originally from Easthampton, MA (USA), I recently landed in Ajijic, Mexico after many years traveling and living throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. I’ve written extensively throughout my life but never took publishing seriously…until now. My writing reflects the philosophical and psychological quirks of the human experience, and I challenge the reader to think outside the boundaries of everyday life. If you like humorous stories that screw with your mind–in a pleasant way, of course–then please check out my novel, Paint, Present & Future.

As for my visual art, I’ve participated in exhibits in the US and Mexico, and had a one-woman show in Okinawa, Japan. I now focus on abstract oil paintings, photography, and graphic arts. I am especially taken by lines and unusual perspectives. I enjoy working in Photoshop and turning some of my photos (and photos of my paintings) into something completely new.

I hold a BA in philosophy from Alverno College, Milwaukee, WI, and an M.Ed. in Counseling from University of Maryland, College Park.

I’m an avid animal lover, and live with my two wonderful cats, Isan and Lucy.
